Activities and Events
Model United Nations Conferences:
What: Participation in various MUN conferences, both national and international.
Purpose: To experience the formal UN procedures and represent different countries or organizations.
Frequency: As scheduled.
MUN Training Workshops:
What: Workshops focused on MUN procedures, public speaking, and diplomacy.
Purpose: To equip members with skills necessary for successful MUN participation.
Frequency: Monthly.
Simulation Sessions:
What: Practice MUN sessions where members simulate UN committees and debates.
Purpose: To provide practical experience and prepare for external conferences.
Frequency: Weekly.
Guest Lectures:
What: Lectures by diplomats, UN officials, and MUN experts.
Purpose: To offer insights into international relations and MUN best practices.
Frequency: Bi-annually.
Research and Briefings:
What: Sessions for research on international issues and preparation of position papers.
Purpose: To support informed and well-researched participation in MUN events.
Frequency: Bi-monthly.
Debate and Discussion Forums:
What: Forums for discussing global issues and current events.
Purpose: To enhance understanding of international affairs and develop critical thinking.
Frequency: Monthly.
Membership and Joining
Eligibility: Open to all students of UPES University interested in international relations and diplomacy.
How to Join: Fill out the membership form available on the UCClubs website or contact the club directly through their social media pages.
Membership Fee: A nominal fee to cover conference and event costs.
